Both weapons have been completed so just putting them side by side to see if I have manage to achieve the same result for both. Just adding the turrets to this

  1. ah good old photoshop! I prefer corel painter though.

I like the fact that you have annotated you designs, not many people do that but it helps explain your design a lot clearer. I like the textured background as well. Something different. Now i want to sketch guns!

  2. Haha its a very common thing to do in entertainment design and also a professional practice to do it like so , Yea i havent use corel i know that is a much better painting program but im pretty happy with the results of photoshop though i would try it when i have time . I like to put a lil big of design element just as a filler up kinda thing

  3. Yeah corel has so many brushes, but some people prefer ps as i think its more commonly used. So do you use Maya to model or 3dsmax?

  5. Ah right. At the moment im using Alias to model. At the moment im modelling a 1970 Dodge Challenger RT. It seems to be going ok for the moment. One of my lectures has shown us some stuff on Maya. I love using the 3d programs though as it shows that you can think about design in 3d form. Have you ever used Alias?

  8. Yh the roof has taken me ages to do just because everytime i trimmed it the curves werent accurate enough. I had the choice to make my aircraft design but because i never really liked the design in the first place id rather do a car i like.
